Red River Backcountry Adventures offers a prime escape into the heart of Kit Carson National Forest, with miles of delicately groomed trails and powder-filled meadows. This sacred forest offers breathtaking views and a true alpine feel.
Our trail guides are one-of-a-kind, experienced riders who will maintain your safety while ensuring you have a day to never forget. Our premium Ski-Doo sleds are safe for all riding levels, from beginners to thrill seekers alike.
We offer an array of customizable tour options. Each will be tailored for you based upon your riding experience or special requests. Our most favored tour, suited for all levels, is a wide trail scenic ride starting at the base of Mallette Park and topping out at nearly 11,300 feet at the remarkable Greenie Peak. This tour offers full views of the Red River Ski Area, the stunning Moreno Valley, and the highest mountain in New Mexico, Wheeler Peak. On your descent, you will be guided through a blend of exciting single-track trails to the pillowy Midnight Meadows.
